The deployment will be led by Imam Ehsanullah alongside Mission Salaam's own team in Uganda. Specific communities and field locations will be shared with confirmed participants during the pre-deployment briefing.

Activities will depend on the needs of communities at the time and may include:

• delivering food packs to widowed families;
• supporting cooked-meal distributions in schools;
• visiting and supporting orphaned children;
• distributing wheelchairs;
• visiting clean-water projects;
• supporting Mission Salaam masjid projects;
• meeting families and communities benefiting from the work.

The final programme may change according to local needs, safety considerations and field conditions.

Applicants must:

• be aged 18 or over;
• be resident in the United Kingdom;
• be available for the complete deployment;
• commit to raising £3,500;
• attend a discovery call;
• complete all required briefings and training;
• follow Mission Salaam's safeguarding guidance and code of conduct.

The deployment is open to brothers only, with appropriate arrangements made throughout the journey.

Each participant must:

• raise a minimum of £3,500 by 31 October 2026;
• pay a £500 non-refundable registration fee after acceptance;
• arrange and pay for their own flights;
• cover their own visa and travel-insurance costs.

The registration fee covers accommodation, meals, local transport, airport transfers, preparation, administration and deployment arrangements organised by Mission Salaam.
