I’m Imam Muhammad Ehsanullah and I cannot ignore what’s happening to our brothers and sisters. In Gaza, the death toll reported by Gaza’s Ministry of Health is around 70,000+ since 7 October 2023, and children have paid a horrific price. UNICEF has stated that 64,000 children have reportedly been killed or maimed across Gaza over the last two years, including at least 1,000 babies.
The Hidden Crisis
Many people assume: “If they’re out of Gaza, they must be safe now.” The truth is heartbreaking. Jordan hosts over 2.39 million registered Palestinian refugees, and many families from Gaza, all living in overcrowded camps in harsh, freezing winter conditions with poor sanitation, limited heating, and unreliable access to nutritious food. They face severe barriers to jobs, services, stability, and dignity, and children are suffering daily from hunger, malnutrition, and preventable health problems.
What Your donation Can Do
From 20–26 December 2025, I am travelling to refugee camps in Jordan to meet widows, orphans, and Gaza families and to deliver life-saving food support with our team. Your donation will provide locally appropriate, balanced food packs so families can get through the weeks ahead with dignity, so children don’t sleep hungry, and mothers aren’t forced to choose who eats.
But Why Give Through This Appeal?
This is not a distant campaign. I will be there in person, witnessing, checking, and ensuring your amanah reaches those who are most vulnerable. And this is focused: food the most basic right, the most urgent need, the most immediate relief.
As the Prophet ﷺ said: The best action in Islam is “To give food, and to greet everyone, whether you know or you do not”. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
Why Now?
Even after the ceasefire began, children have continued to die, OCHA reported UNICEF’s briefing that at least 67 children were killed after the ceasefire took effect, nearly two children per day. Winter makes everything worse: cold nights, poor shelter, sickness, and empty cupboards.

“And they give food, in spite of love for it, to the needy, the orphan, and the captive…” (Qur’an 76:8–9).
